INGLEWOOD, Los Angeles County — November 2026 general election. Gloria Gray is ahead of James Butts in a six-candidate Inglewood mayoral contest after November 3 voting.
What the reported returns show
The NBC Los Angeles results tracker lists 7,358 votes (32.54%) for Gloria Gray and 6,535 (28.90%) for James Butts, an 823-vote lead. Fre’Drisha Dixion has 3,892 (17.21%), Raina Carrillo 2,759 (12.20%), Joe Soto 1,323 (5.85%), and Arturo Martinez 743 (3.29%).
How to interpret the result
The leader has less than half the votes reported in the six-candidate race. This is an interim ranking, not certification, and it does not by itself answer whether local rules would require additional steps. County canvassing continues.
Source cutoff and certification
This article uses figures displayed in the NBC Los Angeles 2026 election results tracker when checked after the November 3 vote, and where identified, a specifically dated local November 4 report. The NBC page’s publication date is not the timestamp of each individual vote update. These figures are unofficial, and this report does not claim an independently confirmed November 5 county bulletin. Los Angeles County continues counting accepted ballots before certification. Check the registrar for a newer official tally.
